Wynnum Manly lost their first State League match of the season, when secumbing to Brothers 19-16 in a tight fought contest at Lang Park.

Brothers thoroughly deserved their win crossing the try line four times and the score could have been worse for Wynnum had Cannon been online with his kicking.  Brothers scored two tries in each half and were always in control of the match.
